This season of Love Island is finally serving viewers the drama they deserve.
On Thursday's episode, a recoupling took place - just a day after three new bombshells rocked up to shake things up - and Toby Aromolaran shocked the villa when he decided to ditch Chloe Burrows in favour of Abigail Rawlings.
The hunk decided to leave Chloe's future on the show in jeopardy following a tense row the night before - despite them going strong for the last few weeks after he left Kaz Kamwi to pursue the blonde.
He told the villa: "One of my main goals is not living with regrets but lessons so I have to be true to myself, the reason I would like to couple up with this girl is her fun aspect, her chat is flowing and it is straight vibes."
He then added: "So I am going to couple up with Abi!"
After Toby announced his choice, which he said was "his hardest decision", the rest of the islanders did little to hide their annoyance at him - with shocked looks on their faces.
Toby seemed swayed to say goodbye to Chloe a day after they had a fiery argument over him "disrespecting" Chloe by flirting with Abigail.
During the clash, Chloe fumed: "I don't really have a lot to say to you I think it is all a bit mad!"
Highlighting his behaviour with Abigail, she added: "It should have been shut down if you like me, linking arms, flirting, it is disrespectful, laughable!"
Toby defended himself by hitting back: "I've not kissed a girl!"
He then pointed out that they needed to be tested as a couple, before Chloe fired: "It is not a test for me, it's for you! You failed!
"You should have told me if you wanted to move on."
Toby then apologised by saying: "If you feel disrespected, then I am sorry for that."
Triggered by Toby's lack of empathy, Chloe ran off crying.
He later claimed in the beach hut that he wants to stay with Chloe, before sharing that he wants to get to know Abigail.
Later on, Toby approached Chloe for another chat by the fire pit.
Chloe admitted that she was "shocked" by what he said and had nothing more to say.
The leggy star wanted clarity about his feelings for Abigail, so asked: "Do you want to get to know her?"
Toby said it was "as a test" before Chloe shared they're on different pages.
He then said they should "sleep on it" and see how they feel in the morning.
The next morning Toby was seen chatting with Abigail in the kitchen and then working out in the gym with her.
Watching on, Chloe declared that if he is "going to graft her all day" that she is going to "call it off."
She then told gal pal Lucinda Strafford that his actions were making her back off rather than fighting for their romance.
Later Hugo Hammond agreed with Chloe that Toby's actions were not on as he "can't have his cake then eat it."
Hugo asked: "Do you think you are done?"
Chloe confessed that she thinks she is done with Toby.
Toby then asked Chloe for another catch-up and asked her where her head was at.
She admitted her head was not going to be turned and then said that if he was open to getting to know Abigail that she was "sacking it off" now.
Toby asked: "Is it too far gone or recoverable?"
Chloe then told him that him not knowing if he wants her or Abigail was a hint that they were not in the best place.
In the evening, Toby then spoke to Abigail and told her that he was stepping back from Chloe and open to "getting to know" her.
Chloe saw the duo speaking and burst into tears as she spoke to Millie and Liam.
She then said: "The best thing for me is to lock it off" and they agreed.
A text then arrived letting them know that a recoupling was taking place.
Chloe exclaimed: "What if I am dumped?"
Toby looked worried before Abigail told him: "You do you, have fun!"
Fans predicted that Toby would end up Abigail after she made a beeline for him on Wednesday's episode.
He was the first guy Abigail pulled for a chat and immediately began flirting with him, from asking for his star sign and his age to mentioning she likes footballers.
Toby was left flustered at one point as she asked about his pillow talk, before digging for information on his romance with Chloe.
When he admitted he was open to getting to know other girls, Abigail said it was interesting - but their exchange did not go unnoticed by his current partner Chloe.
Chloe then pulled Toby for a chat of her own and confessed she was annoyed at him and felt mugged off.
She called him out for not speaking to her all morning or the night before after they were almost dumped from the villa.
Toby could not see what he had done wrong, angering Chloe further as she suggested maybe his age and lack of girlfriends might be to blame.
As Toby called the comment unfair, she suggested that maybe it did not come naturally to him to know how to handle the situation.
As they sat in awkward silence, they hugged it out before Chloe ranted to the other girls before bursting into tears.
It seems like the tension between Chloe and Toby continued after their chat and became all too much when the coupling came about.
