Sky Sports viewers were upset as coverage between Aston Villa and Manchester United was disrupted as the broadcaster unexpectedly cut to an ad break.
With an injury late to the game, Sky Sports cut to a quick ad break but the move made many viewers uncomfortable as they felt they were missing the closing moments of the game.
With the game at 2-2, viewers feared they might miss some of the action and took to social media to vent their frustrations.
One viewer wrote: "What the hell was that about with Sky Sports? Went to adverts in the 92nd minute. Weird"
While another said: "I thought the match was over, I was shocked"
And another added: "@ SkySports what happened with the adverts lol match was still going on…"
It was a thriller in Villa Park as Manchester United found themselves 1-0 up in the first half due to a Emiliano Martinez howler that gifted Bruno Fernandes a goal six minutes in and the lead was doubled by the same man in the 67th minute.
But Jacob Ramsey scored his first goal at Villa Park in the 77th minute and debutante Philippe Coutinho scored an 82nd minute equaliser.
